Our roadtrips home

If you know me very well, you know that I looove East Texas, my hometown and my family and friends there.

My boyfriend Logan is the same way, lucky for me. And even luckier for both of us, we are from the same little town. So every couple of weeks we hit the road for a visit home. I used to make this trip alone when we was still in high school, but now he drives and I'm the co-pilot (also known as the Mac-Mac or passenger seat driver). I just try to help the boy out. Haha. Anyways, this time together on the road is so special for us. We drive through some beautiful places down highways we know light the back of our hands by now. Usually we're driving late in the afternoon. With sunsets for backgrounds, we have had some of our best conversations and karaoke sessions. This weekend was opening season for duck hunting and we made the trip home so Logan could find some ducks.

Passenger-seat driver: check!

Duck calling in the truck = Fall tradition by now.
